Nikon D7100
I chose the Nikon D7100 based off
of the large reputation, positive reviews and impressive results. Nikon took on a difficult challenge upgrading
the already flawless D7000, yet they did.
The public had high-standards for the popular brand and was eager for a
new and improved camera. The
Nikon D7100 is one of the latest DSCR to feature a 24 MP Sensor revealed
in 2012. In review, its
producer found a way to combine extraordinary image quality, first class noise
performance and solid body.
Nikon
has made a significant upgrade from the D7000.
The D7100 is the first Nikon DSLR to omit an Optical low pass
filter. In theory, this action results
in a higher resolution than the DS2000 and D3200 combined. Other upgrades include a larger LCD for
viewing. The AF system with algorithms
was borrowed from the top of the line Nikon D4. A significant upgrade from the D7000
with a full HD and expandable ISO to 25.600.
Nikon
is a very trusted name with 4 out of 5 starts from trusted retailers. Being a popular name brand, Nikon has a tough
task to impress both the public and professionals, which has definitely resulted in
their favor. With a 24.1 pixel camera at the cost of $999, I believe they have
done just that. After comparison to other cameras, even within the same brand, Nikon
has truly put a large existence of work into this camera, and it shows. The
Nikon D7100 is absolutely a great camera and my number one choice.
